I will have one suggestion on how to combat human rights violations, that is relevant for business: the usage and advertising of fair trade products and products which in principle reject child labour.
Child labour is a kind of human rights violation (the right to education for example is violated) and the children are often in many ways in a situation compared to slaves. Emphasising and creating demand for products produced in an ethical manner can lead to a decrease in human rights violations.
