a^2 + b^2 = c^2.....a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse
4^2 + b^2 = 5^2
16 + b^2 = 25
b^2 = 25 - 16
b^2 = 9
b = sq rt 9
b = 3 m

1 meter = 100 cm....so 3 meters = 3(100) = 300 cm
ur answer : the tree is 300 cm high
