Every September, our family makes and sells peach smoothies at the peach festival. Very early on the morning of the festival, my aunt Lisa and I go to the orchard to pick fresh peaches. When [ we ] are done, we deliver [ it ] to my dad at our family's smoothie booth. It is important that the peaches be perfectly ripe. If [ they ] are not ripe enough, the peaches will cause the smoothie to be lumpy and sour. When the ingredients are all ready, Dad waits for the first person to arrive, which [ he ] says is the best part of the whole day.
