Basically the mean is the average of your given set that you have!

Here is your formula:

mean = SUM of each over your terms DIVIDED BY NUMBER of terms

“15, 8, 12, 14, 10,13”

SUM = addition

15 + 8 + 12 + 14 + 10 + 13

15 + 8 = 23

23 + 12 + 14 + 10 + 13

23 + 12 = 35

35 + 14 + 10 + 13

35 + 14 = 49

49 + 10 + 13

49 + 10 = 59

59 + 13 = 72

72 / NUMBER OF TERMS

Number of terms: 6

72 / 6 = 12
