[tex]\large \mathfrak{Solution : }[/tex]

Slope of the given line is :

  • [tex] \dfrac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} [/tex]

where ,

  • [tex]x_2 = 1[/tex]

  • [tex]x_1 = - 3[/tex]

  • [tex]y_2 = - 7[/tex]

  • [tex]y_1 = - 4[/tex]

let's solve :

  • [tex] \dfrac{ - 7 - ( - 4)}{1 - ( - 3)} [/tex]

  • [tex] \dfrac{ - 3}{4} [/tex]
