Affect of the Environment - Terraces would make there more available space and mountains around them would block any sunlight coming from the valley and terraces made it easier to control the water needed for irrigation.

They adapted to terrace farming which, "Terrace farming is when they cut steep hills and they would build rope bridges to cross the mountains."
