Exponents

Multiply/Divide (left to right)

Addition/Subtraction (left to right)

Example: 5 x 2 / 5 + (6 x 3)

1. Evaluate parentheses: 6 x 3 = 18

2. Multiply and divide: 5 x 2 = 10, 10 / 5 = 2

3. Add and subtract: 2 + 18 = 20

4. We're done: 20
