answer : x = -6

solving :
5x-10-9=-7+7x
5x-19=-7+7x
5x-7x=-7+19
-2x=12
x=-6

First you must distribute the 5 into (x-2) who can will give you 5x-10 then just add the -9 which will equal 5x-10-9=-7(1-x).
After all that you do the other side of the equation and distribute it as well to get -7+x. So that gives you 5x-10-9=-7+x
then 5x-19=-7+x when simplified. so add 19 on both sides to get 5x=12+x then -x on both sides and get 4x=12 so x=3
