Conformity - basically there was one participant and the other's were stooges. They would go around the room with the stooges first saying the wrong answer to a very simple task and the participant would go last. This was testing conformity as they would observe if the participant would give the same answer (although it was completely obvious it was wrong= conformity was present), or if the participant was resilient enough to go against conformity and say the correct answer
