9x+4y=37​

Multiply the first equation by 2, and then add both :

4x-4y=28

Divide both sides of the equation by 13

13x/13 = 65/13

x= 5

Replace x on any equation and solve for y:

2x-2y=14

2(5)-2y=14

10-2y= 14

Subtract 10 from both sides:

10-10-2y= 14-10

Divide both sides by -2

-2y/-2 =4/-2

y= -2
