To perform a product of fractions, we multiply the numerator with denominator and denominator with denominator:

[tex]\frac{2}{10}\cdot\frac{4}{9}=\frac{2\cdot4}{10\cdot9}[/tex]

And solve:

[tex]\frac{2\cdot4}{10\cdot9}=\frac{8}{90}[/tex]

And simplify:

[tex]\frac{8}{90}=\frac{4}{45}[/tex]

The answer is option B. 4/45
