In this case, the variation equation is the following:

using the statistics, we have that w = 191, and the height converted in feet is h = 69.4, then, the constant of proportionality is:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 191=69.4k \\ \Rightarrow k=\frac{191}{69.4}=2.75 \\ k=2.75 \end{gathered}[/tex]

therefore, the proportionality constant is k = 2.75
