The ratio of blue marbles to white marbles in Simrans bag is equal to 1 to 2. If there are 20 blue marbles, how many white marbles are there?

Blue:White=1:2

This means that there are twice as many white marbles in the bag than there are blue marbles.

So if their are 20 blue marbles, there are twice as many white marbles

20*2=40 white marbles
