The way u wrote ur question; it can be as the other ans said.

but the fraction part could also mean 2 AND 3/6 - if that is the case, then the second term is equal to [tex] 2\frac{3}{6} [/tex]
= [tex]2 \frac{1}{2} [/tex]

total is then [tex]3 \frac{1}{2} [/tex]
