The scatteplot shows positive correlation between the plotted points.  If a line of best fit was drawn, the slope would trend upward and would be positive, therefore increasing.  The y intercept would be found by using actual data points from the line of best fit and it can also be estimated by  seeing where it crosses the y axis..
