The Least helpful action if you’ve been the victim of identity theft is: Withdraw your money from all accounts.
By withdrawing your money from all your account, you make it harder for the FBI to actually track down the identity stealer. The best thing you can do is report the case to the FBI and follow their direction to catch the perpetrator.
