28 tens is equivalent to a total of [tex]280 [/tex]. . . 

You can find this answer by just simply multiplying;
[tex]28 [/tex] x [tex]10 [/tex] = [tex]280[/tex]

One tens is equal to the number-----------> [tex]10[/tex]

so

[tex]28[/tex] tens is equal to

[tex]28*10=280[/tex]
