Twelve eggs cost $2.09.How much would 18 eggs cost?

12 egg=2.09
then your adding 6 more eggs to get 18 eggs and 6 is half of 12
so you would be adding half the price
2.09/2=1.05
so then add 2.09+1.05=3.14
So 18 eggs would be $3.14
