This concept is The Schema. Ambiguity occurs when we lack information to interpret something completely or correctly, this produces a feeling of discomfort. To diminish this sensation the schemes are used, these are organized concepts that we possess about things. With the help of the schemes we fill in the information that we do not obtain and we make a decision that takes us out of the feeling of ambiguity.
