g=50-4r
Now put in the value of g.

Solve
Use the distribution property
8r+550-44r=118
8r-44r=-432
-36r=-432
r=12
Now put in the value of r
8*12+11g=118
96+11g=118
11g=22
g=2
One rose costs $12
One geranium costs $2
