Before going on a boat, the sportsman should consider that most of the accidents occurs when the boats are smaller in size. When the size of the boat is less than 16 feet, it is more prone to capsizing, especially the open boats.

This type of accident can even take place, when the conditions seems to be ideal. So, one should always keep in minds that open boats smaller than 16 feet are more prone to accidents.
