The answer is: y = -2(3x-4) / 6

Here's how I got my answer:

Step 1: Subtract 11 from both sides. Leaving us with [tex] -12y = 3 + 6x - 11 [/tex]

Step 2: Simplify [tex] 2 + 6x - 11 [/tex] to [tex] 6x - 8 [/tex]

Step 3: Divide both sides by -12. Which leaves us with [tex] y = (-6x - 8) / 12 [/tex]

Step 4: Factor out the common term 2, and then simplify it, which gives us our answer
