3x + 2y = 6

2x + 5y = 7

Multiply the first by 5, second by 2, then subtract

15x + 10y = 30

4x + 10y = 14

11x = 16

x = 16/11

10y = 30 - 15x = 30 - 15(16/11) = 90/11

y = 9/11

Answer: x=16/11, y=9/11

3x + 2y = -6

2x + 5y = 7

Multiply first by 5, second by 2,

15x + 10y = 30

4x + 10y = 14

11x = 16

x = 16/11

10y = 30 - 15x = 30 - 15(16/11) = 90/11

y = 9/11

solve   x=16/11        y=9/11
