The molecular formula is C₅H₁₀O₅.

EF = CH₂O

EF Mass = (12.01 + 2.016 + 16.00) u = 30.03 u

MF mass = 150 u

MF = (EF)_n

n = MF Mass/EF Mass = 150 u/30.03 u = 4.995 ≈ 5

MF = (CH₂O)₅ = C₅H₁₀O₅
