So the "starting" point is also known as the Y-intercept, since it is how much he has before a week passes.  Since he is losing money, the slope will be negative.  So, our slope is -95 since he loses 95 per week.


Slope intercept form has the general formula of Y= mx+b

The m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept.

Now we just plug in our values and get


[tex]Y=-95x+750[/tex]
