Given that:
Diameter = 5 cm
which means,
Radius= [tex] \frac{diameter}{2} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{5}{2} [/tex] = 2.5 cm (radius is half the diameter)
and Height = 2 cm
We can assume that the shape is cylindrical

Formula of the Surface Area of a Cylinder
=2[tex] \pi [/tex]r² + 2[tex] \pi [/tex]rh
=2[tex] \pi [/tex](2.5)² + 2[tex] \pi [/tex](2.5)(2)
=12.5[tex] \pi [/tex] + 10[tex] \pi [/tex]
=22.5[tex] \pi [/tex] cm² (in terms of [tex] \pi [/tex])
=70.69 cm² ≈ 70.7 cm²
