Volume of the given cube =
[tex] {8}^{3} [/tex]

Volume of a cube =
[tex] {(side)}^{3} [/tex]

So,

[tex] {(side)}^{3} = {8}^{3} \\ \\ side = \sqrt[3]{ ({8)}^{3} } = 8[/tex]

Therefore each side is 8 units long.
