How did Madison, in Federalist No. 10, outline how the Republic and Pure Democracy dealt with factions?

Answer:

Madison claimed that factions could force their own beliefs on the other factions ( sorta like nazism ). Pure democracy would corrupt the United States because it was like 2 wolves and a sheep. If you're not the wolf ( aka " The Top Dog " then the unlucky ones were left behind. That was one of Madison's fear and the reason why he opposed pure Democracy.
