to find the impact speed for an object that falls from rest, use the formula:

Vf = sqrt(2gh)

vf is the final velocity/impact speed
g is acceleration due to gravity (9.81m/s^2)
h is the height in metres

so sub the height into the formula and solve for Vf :-)
