Molarity of NaCl solution  = moles of NaCl ÷ volume of NaCl solution

Given,

Molarity of solution = 4M

Moles of NaCl = ?

Volume of solution = 5L

4M = moles of NaCl ÷ 5L

Multiply both sides by 5

Moles of NaCl = 4×5 moles

= 20moles
