Let's pick the first two points to find the slope

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m = (3.8-2.6)/(3-1)

m = (1.2)/(2)

m = 0.6

You can pick any two points you want and you should get the same slope value.

This is equal to the slope of y = (3/5)x-5 since 3/5 = 0.6

So both functions have the same slope.
