2(x + y + z) and 2x + 2( y + z) ?

2(x + y + z) = 2x + 2y + 2z

2x + 2( y + z) = 2x + 2y + 2z

So,

2(x + y + z) = 2x + 2( y + z)

These two expressions are equivalent
