        [tex]= \frac{-20-[-4]}{17-19}\\\\= \frac{-20+4}{17-19}\\\\= \frac{-16}{-2}\\\\= 8[/tex]

m = 8

Parallel lines have same slope.

Parallel slope = 8

Slope of perpendicular line = [tex]\frac{-1}{m}[/tex]

Perpendicular slope = [tex]\frac{-1}{8}[/tex]
