Answer: Jack can make 6 smoothies with the yogurt.

Explanation:

Cups of Yogurt available with Jack =[tex]1\frac{5}{3}=\frac{8}{3}[/tex]

Cups used for 1 smoothie = [tex]\frac{2}{5}[/tex]

Thus if [tex]\frac{2}{5}[/tex] cups of yogurt can make = 1 smoothie

[tex]\frac{8}{3}[/tex] cups of yogurt can make = [tex]\frac{1}{\frac{2}{5}}\times  \frac{8}{3}=\frac{20}{3}=6smoothies[/tex]

Thus Jack can make 6 smoothies with the yogurt.
