Given:

A figure of a right angle triangle.

To find:

The value of Tan R.

Solution:

Trigonometric Ratio: In a right angle triangle,

[tex]\tan \theta =\dfrac{Perpendicular}{Base}[/tex]

Using the above trigonometric ratio in the given triangle, we get

[tex]Tan R =\dfrac{AD}{AR}[/tex]

[tex]Tan R =\dfrac{13}{17}[/tex]
