Can someone explain pH I have no clue how this works

Answer:

pH is the way of measuring acidity/alkalinity on a scale.

the scale goes 0-14. 7 is neutral. the lower the pH, the more acidic (acid) and the higher, the more basic (base). For example, baking soda is a base while coke-cola is an acid. water is neutral
