Ok, so there are 128 ounces of juice in a gallon. so 3x128=384. for the second part we divide 36 into 384 and that gives us 10.6.  so your answers are 384 and No, the teacher couldn't give each student 12 ounces. Hope this helps :)

One gallon is equal to 128 ounces, so 3 gallons is 384 ounces. The teacher doesn't have enough juice to give each of the students 12 ounces of juice. 384 divided by 36 equals 10.6 repeated. (10.666666666666) 10.6 is less than 12, so the teacher does not have enough juice.
