Let's use Newton's second law of motion:

F = m*a

Where:

F= Force = 500

m = mass = 50

a = acceleration

So:

500 = 50*a

Solve for a:

Divide both sides by 50:

500/50 = 50a/50

10 = a

a = 10m/s²
