The volume of a cone is 1/3 x pi x radius^2 x height, so after substituting the values, we have the equation 1/3 x 3.14 x 3^2 x 10, and we have 3^2 because the radius is half the diameter. First, 3^2 = 9, and 1/3 x 3.14 is approximately 1.046. 1.046 x 9 = 9.414, and lastly, 9.414 x 10 = 94.14. So the approximate volume of the funnel is 94.14.
