First you need to find the area of the circle by doing πr², in which r is 6 because 12 ÷ 2 = 6. π × 6² = 36π. 360 ÷ 40° = 9, so you need to divide 36π by 9 which is 4π. 4π is equal to 12.57cm², which is your final answer. I hope this helps!
