Hey,
So since a dozen is 12, three dozens is 36.
If 36 cookies = 9 $ we have to divide both sides of equation with 36.
so 1 cookie = [tex] \frac{9}{36} [/tex]$ and [tex] \frac{9}{36} =\frac{1}{4} [/tex]
So a cookie equals to [tex] \frac{1}{4} [/tex]$ and since [tex] \frac{1}{4} [/tex] equals to 0.25, the answer is A) $0.25
