With increasing age, the trait of neuroticism tends to decline gradually until one is about fifty years old. Neurotiscism is one of the higher order personality trait in psychology. Individuals who have high neurotic level are usually moody and often experience emotions such as anger, worry, anxiety, fear, frustration, envy, jealousy and other negative emotions. Individual in this category are often unable to cope with stress and they usually perceive normal situation as threatening.
