Dalia has just enough money to buy either 6 pears and 20 oranges or 12 oranges and 11 pears. A pear costs $ 0.80. How much does an Orange cost ?

$6(.80) * 20x =12x* 11(.80)
4.80* 20x = 12x*8.80
        -12x    -12x
$4.80 * 8x = 8.80
-4.80          -4.80
8x=4
/8   /8 
x=$.50 

Proof;
6(.80) + 20(.50) = $14.80
12(.50) + 11(.80) = $14.80
