F(X) = 4x - 5
G(X) = 6x - 3

F(x) - G(x)

(4x - 5) - (6x - 3)

4x - 5 - 6x + 3

-2x - 2

-2(X + 1).

I believe this would be the simplified solution.

f(x)-g(x)=(4x-5)-(8x-3)=4x-5-6x+3=-2x-2
f(x)-g(x)=-2x-2
