The over-the-counter, lower-dose version of the fat-blocking prescription drug xenica is called "alli". 
This drug is recommended for people age 18 or older. The drug works by inhibiting fat absorption, making it wasted on stool. About a quarter of fat will not be absorbed thus reducing food calorie intake
