The temperature inside a fridge was -25 degree celcius, The temperature outside was 26 degree celcius . Calculate the difference

The difference is 51 degrees.

In order to find the difference, we must subtract the larger number (26) from the smaller number (-25).

26 - (-25)

Subtracting a negative number is the same as adding a positive number.

26 + 25 = 51
