The slope-intercept form is : [tex]y=ax+b[/tex] so all you have to do is solve for y

[tex]^{-}6x+9y=54 [/tex]                              Equation

[tex]9y=6x+54[/tex]                                     Add 6x to both sides

[tex]y= \frac{2}{3}x+6 [/tex]                        Divide by 9 on both sides

Therefore the linear function is y=2/3x+6
