90 hundreds is equal to 9000 
To find the number of 10's in 9000, simply divide them 
9000/10 = 900

[tex] 90 hundreds=90*100\\ =9,000 [/tex]

and

[tex] one.thousand=1,000 [/tex]

So

Divide

[tex] 9,000 [/tex] by [tex] 1,000 [/tex]

[tex] \frac{9,000}{1,000} =9 [/tex]

therefore

the answer is
