We know that: 3(x-1)^2-162=0
or (x-1)
²= 162:3
and (x-1)²= 54
we take the square root of both sides
* x-1=
√54= 3√6 or x=1+3√6
* x-1= -√54= -3√6 or x=1-3√6
This equation has 2 solutions
