-5(1-5x)+5(-8x-2)=-4x-8x
Distribute.
-5+25x-40x-10=-4x-8x
Combine like terms.
25x-40x= -15x
-10-5=-15
-15x-15= -12x
Add 15x on both sides.
-15=3x
Divide by 3.
x=-5
I hope this helps!
